Tips for keeping your skin healthy this Autumn

With the shorter days and darker nights drawing in, it’s time to say goodbye to summer and dig out your favourite cosy, comfy knits. Now’s the time to start thinking about changing your skincare regime too, to help it recover after summer and prepare for the cooler weather ahead.

Here are our top tips for healthy autumn skin:

Get back to nature

A change in temperature can sometimes cause the skin to become irritated and dry. To help your skin get back to it’s best, try to avoid any skincare products that contain artificial fragrances or chemical ingredients. Opt for 100% natural products instead that will feed your skin with nutrients. Here’s a list of ingredients to avoid:

Parabens, Paraffin, Petrochemicals, Sulphates, Synthetic Fragrance, Synthetic Colour, PEG, TEA, DEA.

Scrub up

A summer of sunshine can often lead to dry and flaky skin. Brighten your complexion by removing dead skin cells with an oil-based exfoliator for extra nourishment. This will also help your skin to absorb moisturiser better.
